Our Head chef
Jan Hlůžek has been a head chef in the „Restaurace Air Club“ for nine years. He prepares and inventes meals according to the latest trends almost daily, so he combines fresh ingredients, original ideas and, of course, the requirements of our guests.
As a gourmand he educated as a cook and than he got a skills in famous hotels as Movenpick and Holiday Inn in Prague. He also has experience abroad. He worked in irish Dunboyne Castle Hotel.
He applies all his experience every day for a wide range of boarders in our restaurant.
The chef of our restaurant, where is a main lunch menu, also participates in major gastronomic competitions.
For example, in the Asparagus Cup competition at the Prague Food Festival in 2009, he won second place and got many invaluable experiences as the finalist of the most prestigious culinary competition
in the Czech Republic – The cook of the year.
Anyway, now he gets the greatest experience of his life as a new father. Because we all know him as a die-hard optimist who likes good food and sport, we firmly believe that he will persists in these hobbies and we´ll still enjoy his positive attitude to gastronom as such.
