Our Head chef
Jan Hlůžek has been the head chef at "Restaurace Air Club" for nine years. He prepares and invents meals according to the latest trends almost daily, combining fresh ingredients, original ideas, and of course, catering to the requirements of our guests.
As a gourmet, he received education in cooking and honed his skills at famous hotels such as Movenpick and Holiday Inn in Prague. He also has experience working abroad, having worked at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel in Ireland. He applies all his experience every day to provide a wide range of dishes for our restaurant boarders.
The chef of our restaurant, which serves as the main lunch menu, also participates in major gastronomic competitions. For example, in the Asparagus Cup competition at the Prague Food Festival in 2009, he won second place and gained invaluable experience as a finalist in the most prestigious culinary competition in the Czech Republic, "The Cook of the Year."
In any case, he is now gaining the greatest experience of his life as a new father. We all know him as a die-hard optimist who loves good food and sports. We firmly believe that he will continue to pursue these hobbies, and we will continue to enjoy his positive attitude towards gastronomy.
